Day 1: US – Paris

Day 2: Paris flight | Eiffel Tower, L’Arc de Triomphe, Champs de Elysees, Notre Dame [Hotel: Paris]

Day 3: Free time in Paris | Louvre Museum, Mona Lisa, Sacre Coeur, Catacombs [Hotel: Paris]

Day 4:  Day trip to Versailles, Fountains & Gardens; (optional electric bike ride through the grounds) Le Domaine de Marie Antoinette, The Queen’s Hamlet | continue to French Coastal Villages | Etretat charming coastal village with scenic cliff and beach views; crepes [Hotel: Etretat]

Day 5:  Honfleur | Normandy Coast, WWII Sites, Normandy American Cemetery, Omaha Beach Memorial [Hotel: Mont St. Michel]

Day 6: Mont St. Michel, a small, inhabited island with 11th-century, Romanesque abbey & the highest tides in Europe | Rennes | Brussels, Belgium, the Grand Place, Introduction to Belgian Chocolate, Belgian Fries, and Belgian Waffles [Hotel: Brussels]

Day 7:  Bruges, Gravensteen (preserved 10th-century moated castle with an armory museum, plus panoramic city views), Saint Bavo’s Cathedral (Church where Charles V (HRE) was baptised & home of Van Eyck’s masterpiece, the Ghent Altarpiece)| Ghent, Markt, Belfry of Bruges (optional climb to the top of the medieval bell tower with 366 steps leading to views, plus treasure chamber & 47-belled carillon) [Hotel: Brussels]

Day 8:  Keukenhof Gardens (expansive, 19th-century park, open from March to May, showcasing multicolored Dutch spring flowers); Amsterdam explore the city [Hotel: Amsterdam]

Day 9:  Amsterdam, Netherlands; Giethoorn Waterway Village | Zaanse Schans (neighborhood in the Dutch town of Zaandam, near Amsterdam. Historic windmills and distinctive green wooden houses were relocated here to recreate the look of an 18th/19th-century village. The Zaans Museum has regional costumes, model windmills and interactive exhibits on chocolate making. Artisan workshops demonstrate rare handicrafts such as wooden clog carving, barrel making and pewter casting. [Hotel: Amsterdam]
